About the ICS File Format

The ICS file format is a universal calendar format used by calendar and email programs, including Outlook for Microsoft 365, Google Calendar, Yahoo Calendar, and Apple Calendar. ICS files are plain text files that contain information such as the title, time and attendees of meetings.

Export your tasks to ICS feed

  1. Click the 'Export' button and select the desired date range.

  2. Initiate the export by click “export” to start the process

Import ICS feed to Google Calendar

  1. Navigate to https://calendar.google.com.

  2. Click on the "Settings" gear icon in the top right corner.

  1. Select "Import & Export" in the sidebar.

  1. Click on the "Select file from your computer" area.

  2. Choose the ICS file you previously located and click "Open" button.

  3. Select the calendar to which you want to import events from the ICS file.

  4. Click "Import" button to proceed with import.

Import ICS feed to Outlook

  1. Open Outlook and click File -> Open & Export -> Import/Export.

  1. Select Import an iCal (.ics) or vCalendar (.vcs) and click Next.

  1. Browse to the location of the ICS file that you want to import into Outlook, select it, and click OK.

  2. A dialog box will appear. Click the Import button to to actually import the data to your calendar (or click the Open as new button if you want Outlook to create a new calendar folder to store your imported calendar appointments).

Import ICS feed to Apple Calendar

  1. Open Calendar on your Mac. Click File on the menu bar and select Import from the drop-down menu.

  1. Locate and highlight the desired ICS file and click Import.

  1. Select the calendar to which you want the imported events added or select New Calendar to create a new calendar for the imported schedule.

  1. Select OK. All your calendar entries are now consolidated in the Apple Calendar application.
