1. Installation & Navigation

ย Step 1: How to Install the App (Cloud)
  1. Go to the Atlassian Marketplace and search for โ€œTeamBoard ProSchedulerโ€, or use this link.

  2. Click 'Try it free.'

  3. Choose your Jira site

  4. Now, you can start using TeamBoard ProScheduler๐ŸŽ‰

ย Step 2: How to Access to TeamBoard ProScheduler in Jira

After installing TeamBoard ProScheduler, you can access the app via the menu by selecting Apps โ†’ 'TeamBoard ProScheduler.'

The Other way: Upon installation, you can access The TeamBoard Project within the Jira project by navigating to the bottom left and selecting 'TeamBoard'

2. Initial Settings & Configuration

ย Step 3: Set Up Permission

In ProScheduler, permissions are categorized into two main levels: App Permission and Board Permission. Each level defines the scope of control and access within the platform.

APP PERMISSION

  • App Amin: Can configure all app settings.

  • Team Admin: Can create new teams, manage members in all teams, and access all team boards.

To configure App Pemission, go to Settings โ†’ Permission

BOARD PERMISSION

  • Board Amin: Can configure specific project board or program board settings.

Note: Project Admins or Program Creators are assigned the Board Admin role by default.

To access Board Permission, go to your specific project / program โ†’ From the board click on the Settings button โ†’ Permission

ย Step 4: Set Up Working Capacity

Set up the working capacity for your team members, which defines the number of hours or days they are available to work. The capacity scheme can be applied to one or many members.

To access capacity scheme settings go to Settings โ†’ Working capacity

ย Step 5: Set Up Holiday Calendar

Create and manage a holiday scheme that reflects your organization's official holidays. This allows you to account for non-working days in project timelines and resource planning.

To access holiday scheme settings go to Settings โ†’ Holiday Calendar

ย Step 6: Create Data Fields

It refers to the customizable attributes created by Admins, which are applied to employee profiles. These attributes can include categories like Departments, Positions, and Skills

To access these settings, go to Settings โ†’ Data Fields

ย Step 7: Set Up Timeoff Types

Define different types of leaves (e.g., vacation, sick leave, parental leave) and allocate them to team members.

To access capacity scheme settings go to Settings โ†’ Leaves

ย Step 8: Configure Color Schemes

The color scheme sets the default task color on the scheduler and its appearance on the Schedule, Calendar view, Timeline, or Gantt. Admin can choose between Resource or JQL configuration for a more personalized experience.

To access Color scheme settings go to Settings โ†’ Color Schemes

Note: You can skip to the next step if you prefer to keep the default color
