Generic Resources in TeamBoard TimePlanner are flexible placeholders used for task planning and resource management. They can represent non-physical entities (e.g., virtual team members, placeholders for unassigned work) or physical assets (e.g., equipment, tools).

They help managers:

  • Optimize workflows by scheduling tasks without specific assignees.

  • Maintain efficiency by preventing project delays.

  • Support flexibility for easy task reassignment as projects progress.

Generic Resources ensure smooth operations and effective task management throughout all project stages.
