Working Capacity

Working capacity refers to the maximum amount of work a member can perform. A capacity scheme is the working capacity assigned to one or multiple members.

Only Jira Admins and App Admins have permission to make changes to Working Capacity settings

To access Capacity settings go to Apps → TeamBoard TimePlanner → Settings → Working capacity

1. Create A New Capacity Scheme

  • Click + New Capacity Scheme button to create a new capacity scheme

Next, enter the Name and Description of the new capacity scheme, and customize the working hours for each day to align with your team's capacity. Click on the Add button to finish.

2. Edit existing Capacity Scheme

  • Go to Working Capacity, click Screenshot 2024-09-25 at 16.37.26.png icon to edit the existing working capacity schemes.

Then you can customize working hours per day, and change the Capacity's Name and Description. Click on the Screenshot 2024-10-15 at 14.25.08.png button to make new changes.

3. Assign Working capacity scheme to Resources

Click on the capacity scheme and check the Resource panel on the right, search for the member, and add to the scheme.

Default capacity scheme

The default working capacity scheme will be applied to all resources that are not assigned to any working capacity schemes. There is only one default scheme overall the app, to mark a scheme as default click on the Set as default Screenshot 2024-10-15 at 14.29.13.png icon.
