Locations

Locations in AssetIT help organizations effectively manage and track their physical assets by assigning them to specific locations. This feature allows users to create, manage, and categorize locations where assets, accessories, licenses, components, and consumables are stored or utilized.

Create a new Location

There are two ways to create locations:

• One-by-One: Click on , fill in the information, and click Submit.

• Import Multiple: Click on to import multiple locations at once.

Edit/Delete Locations

• Click on to edit and to delete a location.

• Delete in Bulk

  • Select the locations you want to delete.

  • Click on the Bulk Action menu > Delete.

  • You will be navigated to the Confirm Bulk Delete Locations page.

• Review the locations that will be deleted, then click on .

Export Locations

• Locations can be exported for record-keeping or data migration purposes.

• Click on to download the data in CSV or PDF file format.
