Updating teams requires Team Admin, App Admin, Jira Admin or Manage Team permissions under team permissions.

Updating teams in TeamBoard TimePlanner allows you to update team names, add or remove members, and adjust team leaders. Follow these steps to edit a team:

  1. Access to the Teams tab on the sidebar.

  2. Locate the team you want to edit.

  3. Click on the specific Team name to access the Team details.

Updating the Team Name

  • On the team's details page, locate the Team Name field at the top.

  • Click on the name to enable editing → Enter the new name in the text field → Confirm the update.

Updating Team Members

1. To Add New Members

  • Click the + Member button on the right-hand side of the screen → An Add Member pop-up window will appear

  • From the dropdown list, select the desired member → Click the Add button to confirm.

2. To Remove Members

  • In the list of team members, find the member you wish to remove.

  • From the Action column, select the Remove option → Click Confirm to finalize the removal of the member from the team.

Updating Team Leader Role

1. To add a new Team Leader

  • Find the member you want to assign as the new team leader in the list of members.

  • From the Action column, click the Star icon Screenshot 2025-01-07 at 15.52.07.png to select the 'Set as leader' option.

2. To Remove the Team Leader

  • Locate the current team leader in the list of members.

  • In the Action column, click on the highlighted Star icon Screenshot 2025-01-07 at 15.50.19.png to revoke the Leader role for the selected member.

Updating the Generic Resource

1. To Add New Generic Resource

  • Click the + Generic Resource button on the right-hand side of the screen → An Add Generic Resource pop-up window will appear.

  • From the dropdown list, the Team Leader can select the created Generic Resources → Click the Add button to confirm.

2. To Remove Generic Resource

  • In the list of generic resources, find the member you wish to remove.

  • From the Action column, select the Remove option

  • Click Confirm and Select one of the following options to finalize the removal of the member from the team:

    • Reassign - Select someone else to reassign and remove this resource from the team

    • Remove - Remove generic resource

    • Discard - Discard this section
